What is agarwood?

The process of the agarwood tree to heal oneself is called "knotting incense." In the process of setting the fragrance, the more serious the infection, the higher the oil content is usually; the longer the time for agarwood to build up the oil, the more mellow and charming fragrance.

Some parts with a high fat content will sink into water when they are put in water. This is where the name "Agarwood" comes from.
